Sirha: the largest event
in the world dedicated
to catering
With 165'000 visitors from 122 countries,
1860 exhibitors from 22 countries, Sirha presents
the trends in catering worldwide. Nearly 20%
of the exhibition surface will be dedicated to the
bakery and pastry trades. The most famous chefs
and professionals of the catering industry will be
present at the Sirha. For this edition, a new event -
the World of Bread Contest - will join the star
contests of the exhibition Bocuse d’Or, World
Pastry Cup and the International Caseus Award that will reward the very best talents.

BREAD…
…has its ambassadors
Ten French professional bakers, most of whom have
received the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best
Craftsman of France) distinction.
They are the "Ambassadors of Bread and of the
French Bakery Trade". Their goal: to defend and
promote traditional bread and to communicate on the
nutritional and gastronomic properties of this food.
For the 1st World of Bread Contest, they will share
their enthusiasm and passion with professionals from
around the world, presenting a new, more modern
vision of bread, perfectly in line with the current
consumer trends and requirements.

Bread is now widely accepted as being an excellent
ally for our health. Its nutritional properties make it a
reference food produce. Each candidate will be
required to present before a jury composed of
nutritionists, the properties of the bread they will have
prepared. A "Special Nutrition" prize will be awarded
in partnership with:

For the connoisseurs, the choice of bread can prove
